Watercolor like a pro.....as a beginner! Just add water and watercolor paint to reveal stunning, gallery-worthy artwork—no artistic experience needed. Think paint-by-numbers, but with the elegant flow of watercolor. Each premade design guides you through the creative process, letting you focus on the fun part: watching colors bloom and blend on the page. Perfect for artists of all skill levels, weekend warriors, and anyone who's ever wanted to create something beautiful. Grab your brush, add water, and let the magic happen.

All projects measure 8.5x11 inches and are framed.

Designs are pre stenciled so it's just like an adult coloring book (personal portraits do take a little more of a steady hand to do)!

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! WE WOULDN'T WANT YOU TO SHOW UP AND NOT BE ABLE TO PARTY WITH US!!!

How it works:

1. Choose project type and workshop date

2. If you are making a birth month bouquet, please add the birth month(s) in the personalization box. If not making birth month project, please type N/A.

3. Agree to our terms & Confirm your Order.

4. If you choose a personalized portrait please email photo to hammerandstainsocal@gmail.com or text to 951-221-5540

 *Simple substitutions of words within the shown design and layout can generally be made at no additional charge. However, significant changes to our standard designs or special requests for a new design are considered custom and must be pre-approved and submitted at least 7 days prior to your event. If approved, a customization fee of $25 will apply. 

Please note: 

  • Once your order is placed you can not change the project or design choices you made.
  • All sales are FINAL! NO REFUNDS will be issued due to the planning and supplies involved in the event.
  • All wood is different and may have knots in it.
  • If you can not attend the event, you will have the option of receiving your project as a take-home kit or have the project completed for you ($10 additional charge).

How to Register

  1. Choose your project and design options from the drop down menu.
  2. If applicable include any relevant personal information needed to complete your stencil such as name or date.
  3. Confirm and Agree to our policies and terms.
  4. Add to Cart and checkout.

Cancellation Policy

Once your order has been submitted we are immediately beginning the process of production of your personalized stencil and therefore refunds will not be issued. In the event you are not able to attend your event, you have the option of coming in during an open paint day to complete your project, we can pack up all supplies for you to complete your project at home or we can complete it for you for an additional charge.

Hammer & Stain reserves the right to make any amendments to this policy at any time. Notification of any changes will be published on this page. If you have any inquiries regarding cancellations or any of our other policies please contact us.

Guest Policy

Unless otherwise specified in the workshop description, unregistered
guests are not permitted to attend any workshop, whether it is a public
workshop or private party. Bringing an unregistered guest will result in the guest being asked to leave as this interferes with the attention and experience of our registered makers. Makers can inquire about purchasing a guest seat but the request will be subject to
approval.

Wood

This is a natural wood workshop, so your sign will have random cracks,
chips, knots and other natural blemishes that give it character! Some peeling may occur. We will do our very best to minimize disturbances to the words and make everything look intentional, but due to the nature of the workshop we can make no guarantees. Please keep in mind, no sign is absolutely perfect, as it is hand crafted, but it will certainly be wall worthy!
